French hotel giant Accor has appointed Julie White as sales director Europe and North Africa for its premium, economy and midscale division.
White joins the group from Wyndham Hotels & Resorts where she served as vice president of sales for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Eurasia. Prior to that, she provided travel-related M&A advisory services at PwC Consulting and also held global commercial roles with carriers such as Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and American Airlines.
Based in London, White will lead Accor’s regional commercial team – which includes sales and distribution, marketing, loyalty and customer experience – with responsibility for driving revenue strategy across markets across Europe and North Africa.
She will report to the global commercial director of the premium, midscale and economy group, Karelle Lamouche.
Lamouche said: “Accor has a clear objective and commitment to further develop our leadership in the European market and generate commercial value through customer focus and the strength of our brand… Julie has a brilliant background and experience fantastic as a sales leader, and I know she will be a great asset to the company.
