The president of the Movement for Integrity, Merit and Independence, Aminata Touré, will support the candidate of the former PASTEF party in the Presidential election on February 25, 2024.
The reason ? The former Prime Minister says she wants to put an end to the constant attacks perpetrated by the Macky Sall regime against Senegalese democracy and human rights. Also, because of “the shameful elimination by legal means and by the fraudulent manipulation of sponsorships of candidates of the true opposition, the victorious common fight against the third term and against the impunity of those responsible for the deaths of young Senegalese” in the exercise of their constitutional rights, the common commitment to put an end to hyper-presidentialism and current state nepotism.”
“Our common ambition to definitively eliminate poverty in our country and establish a decent life for all Senegalese, including young people, women, the elderly, workers and fellow citizens of the diaspora: the said officials took the decision to support the PASTEF candidate for the presidential election of February 25, 2024,” assures Mimi Touré.
She therefore calls on all officials, activists and supporters of Mimi2024 to spare no effort for a major victory for their candidate on the evening of February 25, 2024.
