About 14 years ago, Andrew Mwenda rallied Ugandans to stand up and fight the Museveni dynasty. He is the chief architect of a project that positions General Muhoozi Kainuragaba to succeed his father, Yoweri Museveni, in power since 1986.
In a two-hour interview that takes place in two shifts in different locations 220 miles apart, Mwenda discusses his evolution and his relationships with the power centers in Rwanda and Uganda. He is referring to how Muhoozi will govern Uganda. He castigates Museveni and the Western world, but is full of praise for Rwandan Paul Kagame.
