Black-owned London venture capital firm raises £100m to invest in black founders

Recent reports have revealed that less than 1% of venture capital is invested in black businesses in the US and that figure is no better in the UK.

Based in London, Impact X Capital Partners is a black-owned venture capital firm raising £100 million ($131 million) to support underrepresented entrepreneurs in the entertainment, media, technology, healthcare and digital sectors .

We spoke with Ezechi Britton. Founding member, Principal & CTO in residence at Impact X Capital on several subjects including:
