This is Bloomberg Opinion Today, Bloomberg Opinion’s most prestigious opinion award. register here .

Good morning! It’s me Again. I couldn’t help but return to my keyboard after hearing that Claudia Goldin won the Nobel Prize in Economics this morning for her work on the importance of flexibility for mothers’ earning capacity. It’s an exciting thing and very fitting that this is your second today’s newsletter from me, but we’ll talk about that later. Not only is Claudia the first woman to win the award solo, but she also prescience to write an article for the National Bureau of Economic Research that was published *this morning.* The title, naturally, is: Why women won. Can you imagine?! You wake up, publish an article titled “Why Women Won,” and then win the most prestigious award of all time, joining the ranks of Milton Friedman and Daniel Kahneman?!? It’s beautiful and I love it. Also, please take a second to admire his dogPika:
