The highly anticipated event is Nvidia’s final installment of its GPU Technology Conference (GTC), which first took place nearly 15 years ago at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose.

As expected, but still crazy to see how much attention Nvidia GTC has gotten this year. Jensen Huang’s keynote speech begins at 1 p.m. and here’s the queue for media and analyst entry starting at 10:50 a.m. pic.twitter.com/oVQjigckeM

Huang will deliver the keynote address at the multi-day event at the SAP Center in San Jose, which could bring together as many as 11,000 people in person, the Journal reported.

The hype surrounding Huang’s speech and what it will reveal about the future of AI technology is huge.

Wedbush analyst Matt Bryson wrote in a research note that he expects Nvidia to unveil a new generation of graphics processing chips (GPUs) called B100 that could revolutionize the AI industry .

GPUs made by Nvidia have become the backbone of the generative AI gold rushpowering the technology that makes bots like ChatGPT possible.

The unveiling of a more powerful GPU could help curb the chip shortage this has plagued the tech industry. The meta Mark Zuckerberg – who amassed a GPU stock despite shortage – would likely claim the fastest units, just like OpenAI Sam Altmanwhich has spent a lot of money to combat the shortage of AI chips.
