PM Modi News Live Updates: The government is sincerely trying to frame laws in simple language, in Indian languages as much as possible, PM Modi said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the International Lawyers Conference 2023 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on Saturday.

The inaugural event was also attended by Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud and Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal.

Speaking on the occasion, CJI Chandrachud said it was not utopian to aspire for a world where nations, institutions and, above all, individuals were open to engage with each other.

“Each of us has much to learn from different jurisdictions, from different perspectives, and most importantly from each other. Over the next two days, we will see some of the best minds, including judges from around the world, my own colleagues of the Supreme Court and several High Courts, practitioners across the world and jurists,” the CJI said in his speech.

He added: “It is utopian to think that one day we will find perfect solutions and that there will no longer be any questioning of the administration of justice. However, it is not utopian to aspire to a world in which nations, institutions and, above all, individuals are open to interact with each other. »

Union Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal in his speech highlighted Indian statutory provisions that ensure “ease of doing business”.

The International Lawyers Conference 2023 is being organized by the Bar Council of India with the theme “Emerging Challenges in Justice Delivery System” on September 23-24.

The conference aims to serve as a platform for meaningful dialogue and discussion on various legal topics of national and international importance, to foster the exchange of ideas and experiences and to strengthen international cooperation and understanding of the issues legal.

The conference, organized for the first time in the country, will address topics such as emerging legal trends, cross-border litigation challenges, legal technology, environmental law, etc.

The program will see the participation of eminent judges, legal professionals and leaders of the global legal fraternity.
