Today, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi received French Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu in the presence of Minister of Defense and Military Production, General Mohamed Zaki.
The presidential spokesperson indicated that this meeting was part of the French minister’s concern to inform the president of the results of his regional tour in recent days, in light of international efforts aimed at calming the situation. in the region and the willingness of the French side to coordinate with Egypt in this regard, given the close relations between the two countries and the central role of Egypt, on the political and humanitarian levels, to put an end to the bloodshed of Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip, achieve a ceasefire, protect civilians and provide humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
