South African president appointed Kgosientsho Ramokgopa as acting finance minister, while Enoch Godongwana takes leave.

Ramokgopa, named the country’s energy czar in March to end the country’s electricity crisis, took over the role of acting finance minister on Monday, Vincent Magwenyapresidential spokesperson Cyrille Ramaphosasaid Tuesday via text message.
