The Momentum Proteas will face Bangladesh in two international matches at Willowmoore Park next month.
The teams will face each other in a T20I on December 3 and will face each other again in the last of their three ODI matches on December 23.
The Proteas will go into the series full of confidence after beating New Zealand 2-1 in their last ODI series while drawing 1-1 in the T20I series.
After beating their visitors in their last encounter at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in February, Hilton Moreeng’s men will look to continue their dominance over the subcontinent side.
The fact that SA have never lost to Bangladesh in any international series since their first meeting in 2012, where SA won the T20I and ODI series 2-1, will be a huge motivation for captain Laura Wolvaardt and the team.

They have met 10 times in T20 internationals, and SA have won on nine occasions while Bangladesh have won just once.
In ODIs, they have faced each other 18 times. SA has won 16 times and lost only twice.
Another motivation is that Bangladesh has never performed well in South Africa. They have lost all their international matches played here during their three visits to the country.
Apart from the 2012 series, Bangladesh were beaten 3-0 in the T20I and ODI series in the 2016/17 season and were beaten 5-0 and 3-0 in the ODI and T20I series respectively in their last visit in 2018.
The first ball of the T20 match at Willowmoore Park will take place at 2:00 p.m., while the ODI encounter will begin at 10:00 a.m.
