Making its debut in West Africa last year, the Ampion Venture Bus is here again. Applications are currently open to interested participants. Last year, HalEbolaa platform that facilitates public education on Ebola, emerged as a winner in the region.
With a mission to inspire and connect while empowering entrepreneurs across the continent, Ampion will deploy, in the 2015 edition, 5 buses across the continent – 1 more than in 2014. For Africa West, buses are expected to run from September 17 to 23.
Unlike before, there would be start-up schools to train entrepreneurs on site, and there would be specific themes for each bus. Participants on the West Africa route will focus on, among others, e-health, financial technologies and governance.
Ampion Venture Bus, at the African Development Bank annual meeting held earlier, promised to launch 40 new startups. Don’t be left out, apply now.
