USAID to slowly resume food aid to Ethiopia after June suspension over fraud

This renewed aid follows reforms put in place by the Ethiopian government and partner agencies to improve food distribution. But USAID will keep most of its operations suspended due to fears of systematic aid diversion. Still in this edition: 400 French soldiers present in the town of Ouallam will be the first to leave Niger. And finally: Liberia will go to the polls on October 10 to decide whether or not to grant football legend George Weah a second term as president.
