Ziplines in Harkerville ~There are so many reasons to visit the Garden Route – beaches, mountains, forests and cities. And, in September 2020, another impressive attraction was added to the mix.

After years of challenges (including the Knysna fires and the Covid-19 lockdown), this zipline adventure is finally ready for adrenaline junkies and adventure seekers.

The Harkerville Ziplines are located in the gorge of the Kranshoek Hiking Trail, between Plettenberg Bay And Knysna. Together, the four lines have a total length of 2.2 kilometers.

The longest is 700 meters long and the tallest takes you 200 meters above the magnificent landscapes below. Two additional cables are expected to be added before the end of 2020.

Ziplines in Harkerville are excellent for travelers who like a bit of adrenaline, but also for those who want to experience the magnificent mountains and valleys of the Garden Route from impressive heights and speeds.

All this is in the Garden Route National Parkhome to breathtaking forests and stunning endemic fynbos.

Among the local fauna that can be observed between the zip lines, include the Cape Otter without clawsdolphins, baboons, southern right whales and bush pigs.

Although leopards tend to be shy, they live here and can also be seen occasionally in their natural habitat.
