Agents of “XËYU NDAW ÑI” are demanding 3 months of salary arrears. And yet, a few days ago, the Minister of Youth, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Pape Malick Ndour, boasted of 450 billion CFA francs, or 150 billion CFA francs per year with an initial objective . of 65,000 jobs.

Agents recruited from the Ministry of the Environment “remained almost 4 months without salary” Which renders hollow the emergency program for the employment and socio-economic integration of young people, validated on April 22, 2021 at CICAD by the President of the Republic.

Note that out of a total of 10,000 recruited by the Ministry of the Environment in the same program, 7,000 are assigned to the Senegalese Agency for Reforestation and the Great Green Wall, 2,000 for the Water and Forests Department , hunting and soil conservation and 1000 for the Department of the Environment and Classified Establishments. They all have a 2-year fixed-term contract (CDD) (August 2021 – August 2023), renewable. However, all these agents remained for more than 3 months without pay. And worse still, as if to taunt them, the authorities signed yet another new 17-month contract.
